Description: VTG 1930-1940 AURORA BOREALIS CUT CRYSTAL Necklace & Earrings GORGEOUS Absolutely gorgeous cut aurora borealis crystal necklace spaced with molded brown art glass that has flecks of copper. The stones are set in copper. Pictures do not do this set justice. The cut crystal have so much fire. They also have a beautiful drape to them because they are strung on fine chain which makes them "move" to catch the light. They are not stiff at all and lay beautifully on the neck. Set includes the necklace and matching clip earrings. The stones in the earrings measures approx. 5/8" x 1/2".The workmanship is very detailed. The necklace measures approx 14" flat with an additional 2" extender at the clasp. ( So the size can be adjusted) I would say that this set dates to the 30's or 40's.
