Description: Offered here is a very unusual item: A custom engraved commemorative silverplate bowl made in Denmark for the Danish Brotherhood Society in America and marked "FDG ALP DANMARK ATLA". The engraving reads: "To Chris Jorgensen Our Founder, Presented by Pacific Lodge No. 39 D.B.S., August 10, 1940. Jorgensen was indeed the founder of this particular lodge, which is in Oakland and still operating today. Dimensions: Approximately 10.75" wide (including handles) and 1.5" tall Condition: Overall very good condition for age. Mild tarnish, but no dings and relatively few scratches. Underside has been hand-engraved "FUGATE". Thanks for looking!
