Description: This is an exquisite piece of art from the mid-century period, produced in 1950. The painting is an original work by W. H. Bailey. It could possibly be an early work by well-known artist, William H Bailey? William H Bailey was born in 1930 so this piece being dated 1950 the artist would have been 20 years old. I can personally see some similarities between this piece and some of his later works but I can’t be certain? There is no Information on the back of the piece. The frame was really beat up so I decided to remove it from the frame and the matting and sell it as shown. As you can see from the photos, the edges have a bit of wear, but with proper matting, and framing it would display nicely. It was protected over the years under glass. I’ve included some photos from before I removed the artwork from the frame. It measures approximately 20 x 15” thanks for your interest.
