Description: This is an original hand pressed linocut print of Wayland's Smithy, a chambered long barrow not far from the White Horse at Uffington. The monument is looked after by English Heritage and this linocut is based on photographs I took on a winter visit some years ago. This is the 26th print of an edition of 100 prints. Each print will be made from a single plate in a variety of colours and colour combinations. When I have created a maximum of 100 prints from this plate, the plate will be destroyed. This artwork is printed in Schmincke Linoldruck Ink (Water Based) on Silvine Cartridge Paper (140gsm). The print measures approx 6 x 4 inches and the paper has been hand cut to approx. A5. The print will come unframed and unmounted. I will send the print out to you via 1st class Royal Mail Standard Delivery or Standard International Delivery if sending overseas. I charge full postage for the highest priced item, then 20p for each other item mailed within the same envelope.
