I have been growing them on the Texas coast where we have mostly clay soil, extreme sun, humidity, and heat, and it doesn't phase them one bit. Cuttings are medium-sized & pruned to order, ensuring maximum freshness & viability. The bottom (root end) will be wrapped in a damp cloth, to avoid planting them upsidedown.
