Common practice for the era. Good creamy paper with no foxing.As often the case for the period, there is no print-through from the other side of the paper. I wish books were like that now. Print is black ink, not repro. Sewn binding id strong and intact. Aside from the price scratched on DJ (see pic) there are no marks in this artifact of a book. Cheers!
